How writing a blog helps for growth?

Writing a blog is a real deal. Each mom wants to share in her blog how the kids are growing, each entrepreneur has millions of advices in the are he is working. That`s totally cool with me, how ever I don`t bother reading them. Except when someone from my friends share the content as worth reading ;)

I have decided to write down my own thoughts and ideas as notes and blog entries to myself. Area I am writing about is ecommerce and big data - fields me and my teams are focusing on. Experience (good and bad, both counts) collected may help to reflect on the actions made, rethink twice about the outcome we are aiming. Also these entries, I believe, will generate some feedback from fresh minds so I could grow faster. And of course some disciplined "thinking process" is a good thing as well. It is nice to run, how ever you need to set direction ;).

For the first entry I want to set on the paper future plans (of course which can be made public) so I could come back thinking what is done and why. I didn`t decide yet if I should write and publish the entry and edit it afterwards or first write and polish the entry and only afterwards publish it. How it will go we will see.
